I launched i2air on my mobile phone and can’t connect, help?
First make sure you have a cellular signal. The best way to test this is to navigate to a website using your mobile browser. If you can connect to a website you have a data connection! Now make sure you are not plugged into a power source such as your computer or the wall, if you were connected to a computer with a sync connection then disconnecting may fix the problem, restart i2air. If you have a data connection, but still can not connect, please check the settings from the main screen in i2air and confirm your user name and password are correct. If you still can not stream then quit out of i2air and launch the program again. Make sure you have at least minimal cellular signal showing on your phone. Last but not least restart your phone! If you still can’t stream to the server, then wait a few minutes and try again, our server may be busy.

My screen just went black while I was recording, I can’t see what I’m shooting, Help?
Typically we suggest setting the backlight and display to never time out. You have 2 options here, the first is you can click on any key, which should cause the display to turn back allowing you to see what you are shooting. The 2nd option is to change your display to timeout after 1 minute or even more extreme to never timeout (please note that never timeout mode will shorten your phone’s power time). On Windows Mobile, click on your start menu, scroll to sttings, scroll to more, then to power management, Click O.K on power management, scroll right and left to select the length of time you want the backlight and display screen to stay on for, click done to save your changes.

I want to shoot great mobile video, any tips?
Shooting quality Video on a mobile device is an art form, here are a few tips for Capturing great mobile video. a) Consider using close-up shots. Wide shots lose focus, which makes it difficult for the viewer to see the people. b) The fewer people in each shot the better. If a single person is in the shot, you do not have to frame the person in the center. The person can be set to the side, using the rest of the image to capture background or something else integral to the shot. c) For a background, use the simplest background that makes sense. Complex backgrounds will not translate well to mobile, but go ahead and experiment! d) The slowest amount of camera/phone movement possible is best. The same is true for people moving. A lot of movement by a person or animal is hard to watch on a mobile device or capture with a reduced frame rate. e) Fast cuts or movement between scenes are difficult for the viewer to comprehend and should not be used. Most important of all have Fun and Experiment, Mobile Video is an art form!
